Paraty, Villa 20

There should be a separate category to describe our Villa 20, a house on a private and paradise-like beach on the outskirts of Paraty. Something that evokes cinema and those locations we swear aren’t real. In other words, something extraordinary.

This is a grand villa, and we’re not just talking about the 405,000 square meters of land, which starts at the sea and rises into the forest. Nor about the complete and incredibly helpful team, or the amazing collection religious memorabilia that fills each of the spaces with personality.

Here, every detail is meticulously thought out to make the experience truly unforgettable, from a coffee served in a memorable way to the perfectly pressed bed linen in the early moments of the day. The suites are spread across four fully equipped Villas on the property, ensuring complete privacy.

Above all, Villa 20 is an invitation to forget about the outside world and enjoy magical moments with friends or family, whether with your feet in the sand or participating in any of the many leisure activities. Santo André, Villa 03

Imagine having an entire island to call your own, in southern Bahia, just minutes from Santo André. Villa 03 is a true private retreat surrounded by nature, with exclusive access by private boat or via the approved helipad located within the property itself.

Set on 22,000 square meters of land, the Villa has seven chalets carefully distributed to ensure comfort, privacy, and total integration with the environment. Each space has been designed to provide a unique experience, ideal for large families or groups of friends seeking days of tranquility, sophistication, and connection with the sea.

The leisure facilities are comprehensive and promote well-being at all times: a private beach, 25-meter lap pool, a wellness area with an exclusive selection of massages and aromas from the island, as well as beach tennis and tennis courts, a running track, and a fully equipped gym.

To make your stay even more special, the Villa has a dedicated team, recognized for their excellent service and impeccable hospitality. São Jorge, Villa 03

Surrounded by canyons, waterfalls, and lush greenery, Chapada dos Veadeiros is full of natural wonders, and within this idyllic setting, there is a retreat which is the perfect place for deep contemplation. Villa 3 is a charming country home, situated on a farm, surrounded by stunning scenery just outside São Jorge. 

The property borders a nature reserve, so you feel immersed in nature. The São Miguel River, famous for its rich biodiversity, runs right through the property. If you are not in the mood to explore the surroundings, spend the day unwinding with riverside picnics, refreshing dips in the pool, massages overlooking the forest, or peaceful moments inside a beautifully crafted indigenous-style oca (hut). 

Spacious yet inviting, this villa is ideal for bringing together large families or groups of friends for special moments – like an acoustic guitar session around the fire pit. Designed for guests to fully immerse themselves in nature, Villa 3 is offered on a full-board basis, with delicious meals prepared by a dedicated and highly efficient on-site team. 

Serra da Mantiqueira, Villa 15

Tucked away in a lush green forest in São Francisco Xavier, Villa 15 is a special retreat – it offers an elegant blend of greenery, wood, and glass – designed for those who love the beauty of the Mantiqueira Mountains. 

Access to the villa is along a dirt road through a more remote part of the region. Once there, all you will want to do is fully immerse yourself in mountain living. 

The villa has a pool overlooking the green mountains and cosy bedrooms with fireplaces for colder days. And if you are in the mood for some outdoor activity, you can go on the Rio da Pedra trek or enjoy a peaceful walk by the lake. 

Villa 15 is the perfect place for enjoying time away with your favourite people, it offers everything you need for a relaxing family holiday – from total tranquility to creature comforts and the constant soothing sounds of the forest. 

Serra da Mantiqueira, Villa 18

Villa 18 is located near São Bento do Sapucaí and is 40 minutes from Campos do Jordão. It is the perfect place from which to enjoy a unique experience in the Brazilian mountains.

The design of this house resembles a converted barn which has been clad in steel and surrounded by glass. This special contemporary design was masterminded by Marcio Kogan. The interior décor has a myriad of homely details which makes this a very cosy retreat surrounded by green hills.

In addition, the house is set in a large magical garden, with buttercups, hydrangeas, bromeliads and other flowers typical of the region.

Serra Fluminense, Villa 08

One of the things that makes villa 8 so special is its location in the mountains near Rio. However, what really makes this such a special place is its history, which dates back to 1850 when it was built as the Main house on a coffee plantation.

Recently, the singer Lenny Kravitz fell in love with the house. He was on a music tour of Brazil and instead of spending one night at the house he ended up spending six months there, subsequently buying it and then restoring it to its former glory.

There are a number of historical ruins in the garden and inside Lenny has used his love for design to create a contemporary look which is full of character. There are pieces of art and furniture which remind you of Brazilian architects Sergio Rodrigues and Oscar Niemeyer as well as rare pieces of furniture such as a chair which belonged to Andy Warhol and Ingmar Bergman´s piano.

Villa 8 has everything you need to immerse in nature while surrounded by total peace and quiet. A highlight of the property is its vegetable garden which provides fresh vegetables for the duration of your stay.

As Lenny Karvitz said in an interview to Architectural Digest; “it is a place from which to disconnect and re-think life”.

Sousas, Villa 23

Spending a season in our villa 23 is a special experience, the kind that transports you to another time. Located in Sousas, near Campinas, the property is an old coffee farm that has undergone an impeccable restoration.

The historic mansion has been well maintained and full of charm, but the grounds, surrounded by greenery as far as the eye can see, have been given an annex with a large leisure area and various attractions where you can literally forget about the hectic life going on outside.

All this without counting the many ways to explore the magical scenery that frames the horizon, at a slow travel pace, as a season in nature demands.

Trancoso Villa 11

We are not exaggerating when we say that this is one of the most special villas in our portfolio…and arguably in the whole of Trancoso. It is located on Itapororoca beach and is a real oasis surrounded by lush green rainforest, with beautiful architecture and art.

Architect, Marcio Kogan from MK27 designed the villa on a raised wooden deck, with straight, simple lines throughout, with the purpose of highlighting the exuberance of the surrounding countryside. Every corner of this house is beautiful.

From the four en-suite bedrooms to the gym, to the clever use of natural light throughout the house, everything harmonizes beautifully with an impressive art collection and furniture made out of braúna wood.

The gardens which lead to the sea were designed by Isabel Duprat who used different shades of green throughout the garden. The gardens come to life at night with the clever use of lighting designed by Airton Pimenta.

The villa´s staff are always on hand and can prepare healthy food menus. This really is a place from which to escape and reconnect with nature.

Trancoso, Villa 44

Staying in this villa is like immersing yourself in nature. There is a lush tropical mangrove on one side of the property and on the other side a quiet beach.

The villa is bathed by constant sea breezes, making those lazy afternoons even more pleasant. The sea breeze freshens all areas of the house, especially the 25 metre pool which is surrounded by palm trees and the large terrace on the second floor – this is one of the most comfortable and homely areas of the house, with its hammocks, armchairs and coloured cushions.

The villa is ideal for a group of friends in search of peace and quiet in a location next to the beach with plenty of shade. It has comfortable social areas and the third en-suite bedroom is also in the annexe and is the perfect option for couples who want a little more privacy and peace and quiet.

And if you would like to experience some of Trancoso´s famous nightlife, the Quadrado is only 10 minutes away by car.
